Renovation of the multi-storey car park "Wallstraße" in Braunschweig completed

The renovation of the "Wallstraße" multi-storey car park in the heart of Braunschweig was completed on schedule in October after three years. The parking facility is now fully available to its users with over 600 parking spaces and offers them state-of-the-art parking comfort.

In 2013 CONTIPARK acquired the parking facility built in 1975. A comprehensive redevelopment plan was drawn up to bring the property that had the typical signs of aging for its age and use into line with the high CONTIPARK standards. At the end of 2015, the renovation work began, which was carried out in three construction phases and without interrupting operations.

These included extensive concrete reconditioning and a surface protection system applied to the car park floors to make them more resistant and durable. Furthermore, the old lighting was replaced by new, energy-saving LED technology. The painting work also carried out made the entire multi-storey car park appear in the uniform and modern CONTIPARK design.

CONTIPARK was able to rely on strong partners to carry out the renovation work. In addition to the engineering firm SKP, the construction company Jahn Baumanagement GmbH & Co. KG and STRABAG AG were involved.

But the "Wallstraße" multi-storey car park is not only up to date from a structural point of view. Customers also benefit from the high CONTIPARK standards in terms of service. By connecting the parking facility to the company's own Customer Service Centre, competent contact persons are available around the clock to answer questions and solve problems. The all-day opening of the multi-storey car park is also convenient for its users, as is the option of cashless payment at the automatic pay stations
