Contipark draws green electricity

On January 01, 2011 Contipark changed their electricity-contracts and switched to renewable energy sources.

“The decision to draw green energy is a corporate decision on the direction to a sustainable, climate friendly energy future” explains CEO Michael Kesseler.

The protection of natural resources and the reduction of carbon dioxide through the use of green energy is the main goal of the adoption of renewable energy resources. Amongst others water, wind and sun provide the power for German car parks and offices of the Contipark Group since the beginning of the year. Contipark regards sustainable behavior and climate protection as an essential part of their corporate strategy.

Contipark pursues their future-oriented goals through further environmental protection measures. Such as the usage of solar energy and the intensive dedication in the field of electric mobility. Therefore within several pilot projects charging stations are installed.
