Already 150.000 customers use the convenient P Card service

After last year gave a big reason to celebrate with the 50th anniversary of CONTIPARK the still young 2018 is already holding the next big number ready. By now, 150.000 customers use the P Card service in Germany. That are about 50.000 more than one year ago. But not only the number of customers is increasing steadily. Also, the smart parking service is available in more and more car parks. About 400 car parks, underground car parks and on-street car parks offer convenient parking and attractive special rates for P Card users.

Easy parking – and saving!

As a modern car park operator, CONTIPARK has recognized early that service makes the decisive difference. According to this, it consequently focuses on customer service orientation and creates an easy and individual parking experience for its customers. It starts with the entrance of the car park which works – just as the exit –   without a ticket if you have a P Card. The payment process is facilitated as well. Instead of tediously searching for small change at the automatic pay station customers can easily pay their parking charge cash-free via credit card or SEPA Direct Debit Scheme. The online portal enables P Card users to administer their required personal data facilely. Special rates and discounts up to 50 percent create an additional value and allow P Card customers to park unbeatably low priced.

A success story written by CONTIPARK

The P Card was launched on the German market in 2007 making CONTIPARK the first provider of a digital parking service with integrated accounting and a car park-spanning access system industry-wide. Since 2016, the P Card is also available in Austria where already 15.000 customers are using the service.

Even more comfort with the DB BahnPark app

Also, more and more car parks at railway stations accept the P Card. Customers can park their car without a ticket on currently more than 250 on street car parks in close proximity to railway stations using the DB BahnPark app developed by CONTIPARK and the DB BahnPark GmbH. Heading for the parking ticket vending machine is not necessary anymore, ticket booking and payment are handled cashless via app. The app also sends an automatic message to the user’s mobile device reminding him of his expiring ticket. And: Who realizes that he won’t make it in time can extend the parking time conveniently via app on the way.
