Within the framework of the “Commitment Elektromobilität” (electronic mobility) Contipark participates in the first project to promote electronic mobility managed by the federal ministry of Transport, Construction and urban development (BMVBS).
The project was made possible through cooperation of leading transport providers, energy providers, infrastructural operators, car suppliers and research facilities. Planned is a step by step assembly of a public and integrated vehicle-fleet of 40 cars and about 50 Pedelecs, including an appropriate infrastructure for recharging.
„BeMobility“ is one part of the regional promotion of electronic-mobility trough the BMVBS. Participating companies and institutions are: Deutsche Bahn, Bosch, Contipark, DAI-Labor TU Berlin, EUREF-Institut Berlin, HaCon, Innovationszentrum für Mobilität und gesellschaftlichen Wandel (InnoZ), RWE, SOLON, Vattenfall Europe and Verkehrsverbund Berlin- Brandenburg.
