Successful acquisition: Contipark expands property portfolio in Wolfsburg

Contipark has acquired a second property in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony. The centrally located car park “Poststraße” strengthens the real estate portfolio of the Berlin parking operator with immediate effect. In 2020, the car park “Rothenfelder Straße” was already transferred to the company’s property portfolio.

The property has 972 parking spaces on seven levels and six commercial units on the ground floor with a total area of around 3,900 square metres.

The “Poststraße” multi-storey car park is located in the northern area of the pedestrian zone and can be reached via the street that gives it its name. It was built in the early seventies, and in 1998 the shop areas and the façade were extensively renovated. An additional staircase was also added in 2000.

With its location in Wolfsburg’s city centre and within walking distance of the shopping street, numerous sights, the main railway station, the university and the Autostadt VW, the multi-storey car park offers an ideal starting point for numerous user groups. These include commuters and residents due to various offices and flats in the immediate vicinity of the parking facility. A project development initiated by a university is also currently taking place in the immediate vicinity.

The car park will be operated by a tenant until further notice.
